autumn

i had some time to myself the other day so i took advantage of it and explored a little bit of utah during that time. for some reason i am obsessed with manually un-focusing. the boke effect that comes out has a dreamy-feel to it. big shout out to utah for giving me the awesomest fall experience ever each year that i live here.

these were all shot with my canon ae-1 program (film). every time i get a roll developed i am so anxious to see how they turn out. i'm gettin' the hang of my neat little camera each time i go out and play. i think it definitely delivers the weird creative things that brew up in my head. enjoy, y'all. there's more where this came from.

time

we went goofin' around a little river down through the canyon a while ago. andrew obviously takes the modeling life very seriously. there's never a dull moment with that human thing and i love it. utah is getting way too beautiful right now for my eyes to handle. the air is finally getting crisp and i've taken more than plenty photos of the scarlet and yellow painted trees that have officially made their way to utah (i'll for sure make a new post of just that soon). time is moving way too fast and i'm loving where life is taking me right now. my sweet little niece even turns two next month and then christmas will be here before i can even blink. now excuse me while i drool and maybe shed a couple happy tears over all the twinkling christmas trees in hobby lobby right now...

i guess you could say that i'm living a real life dream.

no work = playing outside aaaaall day with my lovely. utah is too beautiful this time of year to not take advantage of and put my nikon to some use. some pho and a cops marathon is nothing short of a perfect monday night. 

1 yes i am dating a real life ken doll.
2 seersucker shorts and (his) gingham patterns are the epitome of summer time. i will miss it :(

celebrated this sweet boy's birthday this last weekend with some good eats and a hike up to the hot springs late at night. 23 never looked so good!
