this place might be one of the most beautiful places i've ever been and it's twenty minutes away from where i live. how lucky am i? half of these are from andrew's digital and the other half are my film. pictures can't give this place justice, though. us texas gals aren't quite used to hiking in snow so i think next time i'll be a little more prepared and bring some appropriate boots so i don't almost fall to my death like i might have maybe almost did...

on this last beautiful autumn sunday, some friends went up to this little reservoir in the mountains. i sadly forgot my camera, but thankfully my dearest had his and snapped a lot of really cool pictures while we were exploring. the water was a vibrant teal and the trees all smelled like earthly heaven. definitely thankful for days like these.

went out with my love the other day to take some photographs of our friends. all of these were from my film roll that i adoooored. utah is going nuts right now with this whole fall thing. i ain't complainin'.

autumn

i had some time to myself the other day so i took advantage of it and explored a little bit of utah during that time. for some reason i am obsessed with manually un-focusing. the boke effect that comes out has a dreamy-feel to it. big shout out to utah for giving me the awesomest fall experience ever each year that i live here.

these were all shot with my canon ae-1 program (film). every time i get a roll developed i am so anxious to see how they turn out. i'm gettin' the hang of my neat little camera each time i go out and play. i think it definitely delivers the weird creative things that brew up in my head. enjoy, y'all. there's more where this came from.
